“You young people have in a special way the task of witnessing today to the faith; the commitment to bring the Gospel of Christ – the Way, the Truth and the Life – into the third Christian Millennium, to build a new civilization – a civilization of love, of justice and of peace.” – St. John Paul II

CORE TEAM

CORE TEAM

The Core Team is the team that supports the youth group in a personal way. When we break down into smaller groups the Core Team helps to facilitate fruitful discussions and drawing them towards life-impacting resolution. They are expected to lead first through the example of their christian testimony and faith and then through the direction of youth group in activities logistics.

AuguSteins

AuguSteins

“The AuguSteins is a group in Longmont for young adults (~20-35) focused on intellectual engagement through peer discussion, fellowship, and good drinks. We meet bi-weekly on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm at various breweries around Longmont to discuss current cultural topics through the lens of Catholic theology.
Faith formation is a lifelong process, one that requires both inquiry and community to grow, and the AuguSteins serve to provide both. Can Catholic intellectual thought provide a commentary on the MeToo movement? How should your faith influence your financial portfolio? How does one balance complete love with uncompromising truth in a relativistic society? These are the types of questions we look to discuss over a good beer (or water) with friends.
To join the Flocknote group and get updates on meeting dates, locations, and topics, (as well as occasional trivia nights), email Danielle Coon @ danielle.medearis@gmail.com.”
