Help Bring the Eucharist to the Homebound or Hospitalized

“What material food produces in our bodily life, Holy Communion wonderfully achieves in our spiritual life. Communion with the flesh of the risen Christ, a flesh “given life and giving life through the Holy Spirit,”229 preserves, increases, and renews the life of grace received at Baptism. This growth in Christian life needs the nourishment of Eucharistic Communion, the bread for our pilgrimage”

(CCC 1392)

Bring Christ to those who long for Him

The Eucharist is the source and summit of human life, the spiritual nourishment of God for souls. Because of its incredible importance, the Catholic church strives to make sure there are no Catholics who are prevented from receiving the Eucharist because of health or homebound circumstances. Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion help carry out this mission of the Church.
