Boy Scouts
It is the purpose of Boy Scout Troop 65 to serve others by helping
to instill values in young people, and to help prepare them to make
ethical choices over their entire lifetime while achieving their full
potential. Values taught are based upon the Scout Oath and Law. Troop
65 participates in such activities as: hiking, camping, boating, rock
climbing, swimming and other outdoor activities. The Troop also provides
many service hours to our community. To find out more about Troop
65 and Scouting, call Scoutmaster Mike Mitchell (303-651-1882).
Cub Scouts
Cub Scouting provides an effective educational program designed to
influence a boy's character, development, and spiritual growth. The
program teaches habits and attitudes of good citizenship and sportsmanship
with the development of new skills and interests. It strengthens a
boy's ability to get along with others; provides fun and exciting
activities; and prepares a boy to be helpful. Meetings are held according
to different age and grade levels. Cub Master Marty Magill (303) 710-6159 can tell you more or visit the website www.longmontpack65.org. |
