Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (R.C.I.A.) and Children
is a plan for the way Catholics welcome and prepare adults and children
over the age of 7 in the way of Jesus as it is lived in the Catholic
tradition. Through the process of conversion, candidates are prepared
for Baptism, Confirmation and First Communion.
This is a year-round process, with the reception of the sacraments
at various intervals.
RCIA for Adults, begins in September and runs through Pentecost.
Meetings are on Sunday mornings, 8:45-11:30 am. Contact Renee
Sisney or Sr. Michelle Black at 303-776-0737.
RCIA for Children meets in the Middle School on Sunday mornings.
This formation class is primarily for children ages 7 to 18 who
have not been baptized and for baptized children over the age of
9 who have not received any religious instruction or have had very
little exposure to Mass. Students will be prepared to receive the
sacraments at Easter. A parent or sponsor is required to attend
all classes with the child in order to give support in class and
at home. Please call Renee
in the Parish Office 303-776-0737 to sign up. |
