Baptism Preparation Baptism Preparation Classes are an important way for parents and sponsors to come to a deeper understanding of their faith commitment in the sacrament of Baptism. The classes give a brief history of Baptism, provide understanding of symbols and values to be passed on to the children, and are an opportunity for small group faith sharing on questions of understanding faith responsibilities of parents and sponsors. A required baptismal class is held every 2nd Tuesday for parents seeking the baptism of an infant or small child. This class is designed to provide foundational instruction for a lifetime of faith. Older children receive this instruction through their Religious Education classes. Adults seeking this sacrament should call the church office.
